Your Right to Deletion

At Lenacore TV, we respect your privacy and your legal right to control your personal data. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. We take these obligations seriously and are committed to processing deletion requests promptly and transparently.

Whether you're located in the European Union, California, or anywhere else, you can request that we delete the personal information we hold about you. This right is subject to certain legal and operational exceptions outlined below.

What Will Be Deleted

When you submit a valid data deletion request, we will remove the following personal data associated with your account:

  • Account profile information (name, email address, phone number)
  • Billing and subscription details tied to your account
  • Video metadata and viewing history
  • Analytics and engagement records tied to your viewer sessions
  • Communications and support tickets
  • Device identifiers and session cookies associated with your account
  • Any custom integrations or API credentials you created

We will also suppress your data from marketing communications and third-party sharing lists within our deletion process.

What May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained even after a deletion request, as required by law or legitimate operational needs:

  • Tax and Financial Records: U.S. law requires us to retain invoices and payment records for a minimum of seven (7) years for tax compliance and audit purposes.
  • Legal Hold: If your account is subject to a legal dispute, investigation, or subpoena, we may retain relevant data as required by law.
  • Fraud Prevention: Anonymized fraud detection signals may be retained to protect our platform and other users.
  • Aggregated Data: We may retain anonymized, aggregated analytics that cannot identify you personally.
  • Backup Archives: Data may persist in backup systems for a limited time (typically 30–90 days) to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery.

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your personal data, email us at privacy@tv.lenacore.net with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."

Your email should include the following information to help us locate and verify your account:

  1. Your full name
  2. Email address associated with your Lenacore TV account
  3. Account username or user ID (if known)
  4. A clear statement: "I request deletion of my personal data in accordance with GDPR/CCPA"
  5. Your current contact information (phone and/or mailing address)
  6. Any additional details about videos or data you want prioritized for deletion

Please note that video content you uploaded may be permanently deleted as part of this process. If you only want to remove your account information but keep videos live, contact us before submitting a deletion request.

Verification of Identity

To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized data deletion, we will verify your identity before processing any request. This verification may include:

  • Confirmation of your registered email address
  • Verification of your name and account details
  • A security question based on your account history
  • Photo ID or additional identity documents in sensitive cases

We will contact you within the acknowledgement window (see Timeline below) to request any missing verification information. Providing accurate details helps us process your request faster.

Timeline

We are committed to meeting strict deadlines for data deletion requests:

  • Acknowledgement (7 days): We will confirm receipt of your deletion request and inform you of any additional information needed within seven (7) business days.
  • Completion (30 days): Upon successful identity verification, we will complete deletion of your personal data within thirty (30) calendar days and send you written confirmation.

In rare cases where additional time is required due to technical complexity or legal obligations, we will notify you and explain the reason for any extension.

Facebook / Meta Data Deletion

If you connected your Lenacore TV account via Meta (formerly Facebook) login, you may have data stored on Meta's systems as well. To request deletion of data that Meta holds, you must submit a separate request through Meta's data deletion portal:

  • Visit facebook.com/your-information (requires Meta account login)
  • Navigate to Download Your Information or Delete Your Account and Information
  • Follow Meta's instructions to request data deletion

Meta processes deletion requests under their own timelines. Lenacore TV will also revoke access tokens associated with your Meta login within our systems. For questions about Meta's data retention, contact Meta directly through their help center.
